Its been a long journey

This web site going live is the culmination of a long process of writing, illustrating and organizing the printing and publication of this book. It started as a private affair, a story for my own grandchildren, but as the story took shape and came alive with the illustrations from Helen we wondered whether it might find a wider audience. We decided to get the book printed and at the same time we were introduced to the Chestnut Tree Childrens Hospice. It is a wonderful place doing extraordinary work.
We agreed that we would make a donation from the sale of every book to the Hospice and we are delighted that they have agreed to be associated with our project.
We’ll let you have some more posts – hopefully on a fairly regular basis.
